3, 2, 1 CAKE
These individual little cakes are amazing and ready to eat in one minute! They are perfect for whenever you feel like a treat without all the fat and calories that cake can have. Genius idea!

INGREDIENTS:
1 box Angel Food Cake Mix
1 box Cake Mix - Any Flavor
2 Tbsp Water
Makes 1 serving.

DIRECTIONS:
In a ziploc bag, combine the two cake mixes together and mix well. For each individual cake serving, take out 3 Tablespoons of the cake mix combination and mix it with 2 Tablespoons of water in a small microwave-safe container. Microwave on high for 1 minute, and you have your own instant individual little cake!

KEEP remaining cake mixture stored in the ziploc bag and use whenever you feel like a treat! You can top each cake with a dollop of fat free whipped topping and/or some fresh fruit.

You MUST have 1 box Angel Food Cake Mix or it won't work. It has egg whites in it.

A few years ago I tasted a chocolate chip cookie made like one big cookie in the pan but, it had some sort of cream cheese cookie marbled in.  I have wanted to try to make it ever since. I thought I'd use my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe but, does anyone have a recipe for the cream cheese part?

Does anyone have any appetizer recipes that go over well, are easy to make, and are safe at room temperature?

Thought I'd add another recipe--just for fun!

Simple No Bake Cheesecake

2 8oz. Bars Cream Cheese

2 Cans Sweetened Condensed Milk

2 t. Vanilla

2/3 C. Lemon Juice

Soften the cream cheese to room temp. Mix in all other ingredients until smooth.  Pour into graham cracker pie crust.  Chill until firm.

We love this cheesecake plain or with various toppings.  It's always moist and flavorful and so very simple to make.  When I do a double batch, I usually buy the deep dish pie crusts.  Sometimes i also get the little tart crusts instead of a big pie crust.

Another holiday favorite!  Beer Bread

3 C. Self Rising Flour

1 C. Sugar

1 Beer (12 oz.)

Preheat oven to 350.  Mix all ingredients and pour into greased loaf pan.  Bake for 70 min.

Glad to see someone else post here. Began to think I was having this dicussion by myself--just like home...hahaha

I have no idea what the name of this dish really is.

my kids started calling it Pink Stuff and the name stuck--

Can be a dessert or a side dish. Good in the summer but, we have it year round. It's one of those things everyone wants me to bring, um, to whatever-wherever.

I'm fairly certain some of you already make some form of this...

Pink Stuff

1 normal size can of crushed pineapple-drained well

1 small box of dry jello(i normally use cherry)

1 small tub of small curd cottage cheese

1 small bowl of Cool Whip

Mix the drained pineapple and the dry jello together. Let that set for 10-15 minutes-so the jello can dissolve. Stir in the cottage cheese and then the cool whip. Chill for a couple of hours or overnight.

When I use cherry jello--

I usually chop up a few Marschino cherries and mix them in with the pineapple and the jello.

When I use orange jello--

I sometimes add a small can of mandarin oranges(drained)--depends on if dtr # 2 will be having some :)

And--although this stuff is good without these extra calories and the extra sugar--

I always add 1-1 1/2 cups of mini-marshmallows. But, it doesn't call for them in the original recipe.

LOL, My pleasure.  I love food and I love simple recipes.

FRIED ICE CREAM

French Vanilla Ice Cream

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal (finely crushed)

Honey

Place individual scoopfuls (balls) of ice cream (approx 1/2 cup) onto cookie sheet and freeze for 15 minutes (or until firm)

Roll ice cream balls in finely crushed cereal, drizzle with honey and place back in freezer until ready to serve.

I placed my coated ice cream balls in cupcake liners to keep them from freezing together.  It worked great and made it very easy to serve.

I made these for the first time yesterday for Father's Day dinner and they were a huge hit.

Be creative and use different flavors of ice cream and coatings!
