Hello MO!  Haven't been on here in a while.  Hope you and your Sailors are all doing well.  I would like to ask for your prayers for all the service men & women (my son included) who have been deployed to the Philippines to help out with the devastation.  My heart aches for all those people but I know the Navy will provide much needed aid.  I know my son will do a good job but as a mother I can't help but worry about him being over there.  I am so proud of all our service members for the work they do.  God bless them all.

Jacicat - sorry I'm so late but congratulations to your son!  Awesome!!!!

Ashleighsmom - Wow PIR is this Friday - WooHoo!!!!!  So happy for you!  Enjoy!

CherylB - Nice to hear from you.  Hope you're doing well.

Fairview Heights, Southwestern ILLINOIS Moms (and one Dad) meet and greet plus packing party for troops adoption and MASH unit.  We had enough (including pillowcases) for 7 boxes for the USS Preble adoption; 2 boxes for our Combat MASH hospital; plus one box of socks for the hospital!  Greet meeting everyone one (some of you again.)  Let me know if you need information about Meet & Greets or Packing Parties through Molly's Adopt a Sailor (mollysadoptasailor.com or facebook.)  Carol

For our first phone call from our SR yesterday! We had mIssed 3 calls so by the time we got to talk to her she was crying and I thought something was wrong. She was just upset that she might not get to task to us for another few weeks. She said she s doing great, making lots of friends, ironing clothes at midnight (including her underwear), and eating healthier. I'm so proyd of her!
