Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Metro East Moms who want to cross the river over in to Illinois. Sat.Sept 21st, lunch meet and greet plus small packing party. Noon ok with everyone? I'm thinking Cheddards since they have helped us at Molly's Adopt a Sailor. I'll get invite going soon, with address too. It's at Fairview Heights in front of St. Clair Mall.

Joshmom, I saw this and thought you might want to check it out on youtube,look for Talisman Saber 2013 - I don't think you will see your Sailor, but it is still a nice video of what they are doing down under! (Besides going to the bars to get drunk!)

Does anyone watch America's Got Talent? Innovative Force is from my town! They made it into the semi-finals last night.....we are so proud of our small town girls!

Hi Joshmom!! I'm absolutely going to PIR!! I can't wait!! I'm counting down the days. I'm so excited to see him and hear all of his stories! I'm also going to wait with him at the airport the next day. I want to spend every second with him that I can because it will be awhile before I get to do it again!

Donna - HA! Yep that's the ship my son is on! It took 6 hours to get a gang plank big enough to get them off the ship - this was the first time his ship had ever been to this port. I watched some news footage and they were interviewing Sailors about the ordeal and one commented "Honestly, we just wanted to get off the ship and get drunk"! LOL Typical Sailors!!!
ShirleyAnn - You are so sweet! That is awesome what you are doing. I'll send you a friend request. My son went to A school in P'cola. Have you been down there or have plans to go? It's a nice place to visit.
Brian's Mom - Welcome! How are you doing? Bootcamp is quite an emotional roller coaster ride but come here we'll help you get through it and trust me when you go to PIR it's all worth it!

Hello Missouri Moms, it really has been quiet on here!
Joshmom, is you son on a ship that had to wait in port the other day until they found a gangplank that would fit? If so, I can only image how those Sailors felt, so close to shore, but no way to get there!!

Joshmom--Hello--my son is in "A" school at Pensacola and is loving it--I think I know why this group is quiet--before PIR we were focused on one N4mom group--at last count I am now in five plus the face book pages! One of them is the heads at ease group--pillowcases for deployed military--great idea--I'm working on a personal project of getting them made for sailors from his PIR group before they leave A school...message me your son's address and I will send him one--I'm making one for the daughter of a friend from one of the face book groups that just deployed and she has been cranking the whole time--zebra strip and pink for her--any color or theme preference for yours? Have a great day.
