There's still a week's full of free family events at St Louis Navy Week. This weekend is busy at Science Center and the Muddy Blues Fest. Stuff all week long!

Our son, who was already lean, lost weight in the Navy and had to buy smaller waisted pants. I took a photo of all his favorite shirts, and asked him which ones to mail. He picked all but one. Just lined up the shirts on hangers on the shower curtain and emailed him a pix. Easy way for him to decide what he wanted.

Then I send him a lot of snack foods like slim jims, granola bars, pop tarts, and whatever his room mate or freinds want they all share. Not to shy to tell me what they want.lol My son is in Pennsacola for AS. Still waiting to start A school.

If you have sailors new addy for A school, you can mail him goodies. However, sometimes mail is slow, so be sure if it is homebaked that you have it wrapped well.

Oh thanks Michele..but yes there is no way I can come..So wish I could it looks Amazing!!...but Im trying to recover from a weekend Great Lakes trip! Im not really sure that my son will be out participating in any of that since he just arrived. He told me is Phase I liberty. Was thinking of making a trip up when his liberty was more extended but he wants me to save my money and just wait til he is home so we can do something together then without having to worry about time. Do you know if I can send him like care packages of cookies and stuff yet?
