cheryl, some how my message didn't get to you on the other page. Can you try again. Maybe I had the wrong email add. Sorry I did try to talk to you. I wasn't being stuck-up. It told me it didn't go thru.

Thanks for the warm welcome :) Sorry for my delay in responding, I've been so wrapped up in 8/13 PIR & MG planning I forgot to check back here.
AndrewsMom... I actually lurked on your PIR and watched all the I'm a Sailor calls, very exciting for you all!
CherylB, I'd love to meet you & anyone else for lunch. And as school starts up I'll have more free time for Meet & Greets as well. My son wanted to go SpecOps, I talked him out of it - he went to BC as STG, took the SpecOps & passed! Doing medical for SWCC now.
Carols Kitchen, I will plan on Navy Week, should be fun & exciting!

I forgot to ask if you have a favorite shopping mall in the St. Louis region. I'm thinking we need to set a lunch and shopping date before the holidays.

Yay! MO people! I'm new to all of this, not a mom but a wife. That meet and greet idea sounds exciting...carol, you said something about stl in sept? My mother in law and sister in law (who is also a navy wife) along with myself may be interested in that...we are all from southeast mo.

Belinda and Renee--go right up above comments. Click on +add discussion. Then start your brainstorming. You can also send a message out to the MO family above all your pix where it says send message to group. It might get you going in the meet and greet mode faster.

Renee--anyone can start a meet and greet. Just go abouve to discussions and put out a feeler. Something like "who wants to meet in KC area?" It may take awhile, but if even two or three are interested, it really is great! That's how I started in Illinois over 2 years ago.

CherylB. Let me know what you want to do at your meet and greet and I will give you some hints. I, too, noticed the MO group was pretty quiet, so that's part of why I joined it. Wanted to get you guys going. If you have time, I'll tell you how to get more MO people to join. It takes about 15 minutes every couple of days.
