Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

HI Codysmom91. It is so nice to see a little activity on the MO site. It went forever with no one posting. I have never arranged a meet and greet before but hope to do so this fall in St. Louis. We might need to have another one more out west. Do you belong to the Springfield group also. How far are you from there? Glad to see you on here.

Re: Navy Week. Be sure and RSVP to the site on any date of Sept 6-12. The biggest thing is to wear your pride of being a Navy family member. Wear shirts, hats, jackets, pins, etc. We want a patriotic bunch appearing at the Union Station for sure! As far as other events, I'll keep you updated if we hold a dinner again in the Belleville, IL area. Last year we met some of the newest members of the USS Missouri, someone about Fleet and Family preparedness, and a couple of admirals who were open to our questions and answer period. It was great!

CherylB,
I live outside of New haven, we are close. Did your kids go to Washington High?

I would like to check out the St. Louis Navy Week. Never knew they had something like that for the Navy. But I'm new and have a lot to learn about the Navy.
