FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey--who is going to meet up at Navy Week St Louis? Be sure and RSVP to keep updated on the events Sept 6-12. The weekend should be rocking at Union Station!

Hi Janelle...Welcome. My son has a PIR of 7/23 and before you know it you will be this close to seeing your new Sailor.

Joeysmom, looks like your journey with N4M is just beginning. I couldn't have made it without this website and now in less than two weeks my son will be graduating. I am so excited. Please keep me posted on how things are going with your SR or if you have any questions. If you havent already join the Boot Camp Moms group and then your PIR group when you find out what it is.

Thanks DCT MOM. This has been a very long 8 weeks and I am so looking forward to seeing my Sailor. Wow DeSoto we are neighbors :-)

my son Joey is from West Plains, MO...He left for bootcamp yesterday...
