Marthasville go around 4-5 inches of snow with some snow pellets and slight sleet. The snow was very soft and fluffy. Yesterday the snow was crunchy. Had a lot of fun out playing in it.

My husband works in Montgomery and they had about 8 inches. He made it home ok thank goodness.

Thanks for checking in everyone!! Glad to hear you all are A OKAY!

Reporting from the SW corner of MO: We got rain, ice, sleet, and snow; not much of any, but enough to make the roads slick. My youngest described it as "fun to drive on." The sun came out and it is melting. More expected Monday, I think. My middle son, the sailor, graduated BESS today. Now on to MMS, then A school.

Hi All - we got about 7-8 inches of snow in the Quincy, IL, area.  It was really bad yesterday about 1.  That's when I went home from work.  I'm working from home today in my footy pjs and loving it!!!

Over here on the east side we got the "wintery mix" -- sleet, freezing rain, and snow-- but not too much of any one. A coating of freezing rain on the cars but not too thick, followed by about 3-4 inches of snow. The roads are pretty clear now but school has been canceled for the 2nd day. It's nice to just stay home and relax. Stay safe everyone!

Hi everyone! Here is St. Peters we had a little sleet and ice the 5-6 inches of snow.

The hubby made it home from work slowly but safely. My AO1 is safe just outside of KC. She and her hubby stopped there on their way to her next posting in Great Lakes. She'll be here to see me on Monday! I can't wait as I haven't seen her in almost 18 months. I hope everyone stays safe and warm!

Checking in from my personal snow drift in KC.  We live fairly close the airport and our backyard reading was almost 11".  I think the metro area received somewhere between 8.5 to 12".  The airport closed down yesterday which is the first time I can remember that happening in over 25 years.  A bunch of the interstates also closed down periodically throughout the day simply because of the number of cars that were stuck.  Most of the snow fell between 7am and noon at a rate of 2-3" per hour.  My youngest son and I cleared the driveway about 10am in hopes that my husband was on his way home.  He got stuck and finally showed up around 3pm and by that time you couldn't tell that our driveway had been touched at all.

Today is much, much better.  A lot of people did not attempt to venture out but both my husband and I made it to work with little difficulty.  The road crews have been AWESOME!!  Hopefully by the time I attempt to get back home the roads will be even better.  Unfortunately, they are forecasting more snow on Monday.

Hope everyone else is staying warm and dry.  Really wishing I was with my son in Monterey now!

TGIF and a Snow Day for me!!!  Yeah I didn't have to go into work this morning but it's due to ice not snow.  Just came inside from feeding the birds - gotta take care of the wildlife!  Actually we didn't get much accumulation down this way it was all sleet & freezing rain just enough to make for treacherous road conditions.  I've seen the snow plow go by twice this morning and the road seems clear now...fingers crossed the boss doesn't call and say come on in...maybe I just won't answer the phone!  LOL

Cheryl, you forgot to mention what you got in your area...much snow?

I love snow so I'm quite jealous of some of you.  Looks like the Kansas CIty area got tons! Please check in those of you on the western side....ceej?.  Would love to get reports from all over the state and you lovely mommas across the river too.  Hope all are safe and have no where to go.

ckmom - I bet you're just the bestest grandma ever!   Congrats to your daughter on her engagement and to you on getting a son-in-law.  Good luck with the wedding and we do expect to see pics!

Take care and enjoy the weekend!

Oh  I'm so sorry that you don't feel good, glad the medicine is helping though.

I am doing ok Ckmom thanks for asking. My last round of blood work was good so the medicine is keeping it at bay! Now just wish I would feel better. LOL
