PIR seemed so long ago! It was a wonderful celebration. And live is waaaayyyyy better than live streaming! My daughter's A school is at Great Lakes. I'm very happy about that, knowing that come September, she can be stationed far away. This has been a great experience for her and I have noticed a change. Navy proud!

Great--two of our recruits from the same area graduating at the same time.  Love it.

Of course you can visit, JoshMom.  Right now we're tentatively looking at a 2 bedroom condo....It must be a repo.  My hubby is very handy, so that doesn't scare me, and it could be a great "in-between" choice for us to try it out on vacations.  As a grade school cook off, I don't get paid well, but the days off are great.

Pitting Bing cherries right now.  This is a back break.  Even though I just finished YMCA water class, this exercise in pitting is hard on my shoulders.  Got 35# fresh from the Washington state orchards.  Belong to a fruit club that I believe goes through MO too.  message me if you want the link.  Peaches coming this week! No pesticides in the fruit club's orchards.

Reporting in for Monday Morning Muster!

Welcome aboard Nora!  Hey you and JoplinMom need to connect....your sons are graduating the same day...awesome!!  Hang in there ladies PIR is well worth the wait!

Carols_kitchen - Prayers that your son is able to reenlist. Don't want anything to stand in the way of a sailor continuing his career.  If you move to Florida I'm coming to visit...especially during the winter when we're freezing our behinds off up here!  lol

Have a great week ladies!

Nora, he's going to try really hard to re-enlist at least once more this year.  If so, we could easily see ourselves packing up the house.  It would be two years before we even think of it, but still....northern Florida is mighty nice.

So, Nora, are you packed yet?  lol

We get to see our sailor in a couple of weeks.  He's been in the Navy since PIR of 08/08/08.
