Wow--it worked--maybe some of our sailors on the Truman will recognize him and pass the word on!

Hi everyone--I've not been on much--busy semester in college and doing a lot of substituting--anyway someone posted a picture of Truman Homecoming of a daddy and his little girl that she does not know and wants to make it available to them--it was on one of the Facebook navy mom pages I follow--I'm going to try to paste it in here..........

She is not going with us to his graduation because she has Prom this weekend.  He text-ed me this morning and said he told her he couldn't come home after A school but he would be able to come home over Memorial day weekend.  hehehe

Absolutely I will be there.  He is actually going with his recruiter, it just happens that is the day she visits his old High School. I'm just worried her friends will see him first and text her. :)

tigermom - AWESOME!!!!  and I love the surprises!  Is there anyway you can be hidden at school to capture that Kodak moment?!!!!  I would love to see the look on his sister's face!

Joshmom he didn't get San Diego but he is going to Lemoore, Ca which is only 4 hours away.  He is really excited about the planes he will be working on.  Mommy is a very happy Mom about everything.

We are not telling his sister or his dad that he is coming home after graduation.  He is just going to surprise them. He is going to his sisters school to surprise her.

yeah mine doesn't like to write either but its funny he started in boot camp...he like to Skype and I do to but he has to be usually in a hotel for the Internet to be good enough!

Eelia111 - Yippy for getting a note!  I'm sure getting word from him did your heart a world of good.  I get excited over any message, big or small, wait.... my son doesn't like to write so his messages are always small! LOL

tigermom - Woohoo your sailor is coming back home with ya!  So, did he get his orders? I've been keeping fingers crossed he'd get what he wanted.
