OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE - 2020**

Due to COVID there is no public PIR. The graduations are on Thursday, and the video of the graduation is posted on RTC's FaceBook on Friday at approx 3pm. Please keep in mind that a division may need to complete additional quarantine during training which will delay their graduation.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

We already have 50 pillowcases promised! If anyone wants to send this month please let me know. We are off to a great start!

My son is on the USS Bataan, but he's not a marine.   I'm glad you guys are taking care of all those marines on board though.

Your son is part of the Marines, by providing access to the USS Bataan and all the needs they will have.

He's actually a Seabee  Mechanic on the beachmaster team.  So his job is getting the marines and their supplies and anything else needed from the ship to the beach . . . and making sure that it's all running right, then getting them all back on the ship again.

That's a job I never thought about. Talk about needing a team for a successful job! We would be happy for him to go to mollysadoptasailor dot com and ask if his group can be adopted. Carol
All pillowcases have been promised! Now let's focus on getting these heroes cards, letters and care packages!

Do they want toothbrushes with that toothpaste? My guess is yes.

I have about 144 bags of sunflower seeds so that should fill one box and we are making cookies. second box will be full of "other snacks"

I suspect a fast hands grab on your boxes! Carol

Oh PaMom, Your boxes are gonna be POPULAR!!!

2 boxes going out tomorrow

Huge thank you!!
