We have stitched many pillowcases over the years!  It is so amazing the talent and creativity the many stitchers show every month!

We are fortunate that the Pepsi money has allowed us to purchase some material to stitch up for our adoptees!!  Since our packing parties have shown to be such a great bonding between so many we are going to encourage you to have a Pillowcase party!!

All are welcome...  stitchers and non stitchers!!  There are many jobs that can be done by non stitchers.  Cutting fabric, ironing fabric, clipping threads and writing notes to tuck into that special pillowcase!  And the best part is we get to spend time together!

So call a girlfriend, neighbor, coworker, or church member...  get them together for a Pillowcase party!

When you have your date and time set let me know and I will send along some of the fabric we have purchased.  All are solid color pieces...  in three yard lengths.  Be sure to take pictures of your party and finished pillowcases!

Great Brenda Sue...  let me know when you are ready!!
Washington needs to get a party scheduled..  we are looking at dates!!
Our Southeast Texas stitching party will be held February 19 in Silsbee which is about 15 miles north of Beaumont.  If anyone wants to join me and Brenda Sue and our volunteers just let us know and we will give you directions.
Looks like there will be a couple of stitching parties on Feb 19th!!
Did you see that there is going to be a party in MA??  I still can't believe it.  I posted what happened on the general Molly's... site, not under a discussion so you can read it there.  As soon as I get more info I'll let you know.  It is being done by a fabric store for us.  The only hold-up is all this snow we have on the ground.  The parking lots are good size, but right now they are pretty small and tight.  The owner says she wants to wait for March or early April when she will have a lot more of her spaces back.  Hey, I'm going to pray for an early spring and thaw so we can get that lot open for a party!!
what did that darn ground hog say???  I never pay attention but now I wish I had!!  melt snow melt!!!

The groundhog did not see his shadow, so we are supposed to get an early spring.  I only agree with the groundhog when he goes my way which is shorter winter and early spring.  Can't count on much melting today, Susan, the sun is bright and shining, but it is only 9 degrees and it is so windy that the windchill is below 0.  :(

But they did say no more storms this week!!  Yeah, cause we have a packing party on Sat.  Just crossing our fingers for good weather AND that we aren't punished next week with 2 storms.  That has happened a LOT this winter.  The weatherman said we've been averaging 1.5 storms a week since Christmas.

I have my fingers crossed that your weather holds!!  Have a wonderful time together!!
