hey friends.
Just checking in. My son is in A school in Charleston for at least the next year. It will be a long haul. Just found out one of the young men from our ward in MN and his family will be headed to Goose Creek next spring/summer. He'll be an instructor on nuclear reactors! Hoping my son runs into him. My son says that the ward there is made up of college students, service men/women and others in the Goose Creek area. He has changed a lot in the last year. He's becoming the man I always knew he could be, and the Lord has softened his heart. I am so grateful...
Diane in AZ-We were just in SD and looked this up with our son who is there. I know there are a lot of sailors on base so it might be hard for them to find each other but maybe they could meet at church this week and make arrangements to go together next week.

Hi everyone,
Well my son is in San Diego and having a hard time getting to church. I have talked to the Bishop of his ward and he said he would help, that was 2 weeks ago, my son hasnt heard from anyone. He said he is lonely and wants to attend but he has only been there a few months, he is a new sailor and still kind of overwhelmed by everything. I just keep praying.
my daughter says she hasnt found any members on her ship, so it should be an interesting sail when they deploy and Sundays roll around.
Well , my daughter arrived at Pearl Harbor last night. Anyone know where church is at?
