Son said they just sat in a room from morning til like 2:30.He said he would be starting class in July. Not sure if anything has changed, but he was going to be the only one in the class. He's not really forthcoming with info anymore....ugh!!! I sure wish more moms of sailors at Tinker were on this site.

Hello All.  My sailor seems to be really bored.  What kind of activities do they actually have now?  He is glad to be in class now....although it is such a slow start.

Suzi - I did ask Ryan for his address and such last night but he said he didn't have all the details yet. So maybe once he gets it and gives it to me I can see if it is close to where Lynch is at.
I will continue to encourage Ryan to take it one day at a time; all good things come to those that wait!!

I saw your post on Safe Harbor. Hopefully he will adjust and enjoy it there. Not sure if all Navy live in the same building, so I don"t know if our boys' rooms are close to each other. I'll send you Lynch's address privately for you to check.

Ryan is checking into internet service this week but will rely on his cell phone for email & FB for now as well.

He seems a little down....has his own room but no headmate. Feels like the oddball for now; appears to be the newest one to arrive in his area in over a year and the youngest too :(
I keep encouraging him to just take it one day at a time!!

Alysia......checked with Lynch earlier and he never checked his email, so he didn't get R's info. I sent to him by text and he added him on FB.

Laurilyn - I belong to the OK Navy Moms' group here. They've been so nice and Sandra was sweet to give me her contact info for my son!! Great group!

I really wish this group had more activity...have you found any other active groups for Tinker?

Thanks Suzi ~ !! R is pretty independent but I'm sure he will welcome the interaction. I'm still not quite sure what he will be doing but hope to get a better understanding once he gets going in his group :-)
