Did your son say anything about a hold at Tinker? I didn't question Lynch about it when he mentioned it. It might be because they have to wait for a spot to train???? I think they will miss P'cola.

ginlynn: have you been out to Tinker? Suzi: 84 day hold? Gee. Our boys only have a few more weeks in PCola.

Happy Flightsuit Friday!!! Lynch sent me a pic of him in his flight suit today.....a nice surprise! The kid really loves Flightsuit Friday!

Anyone have suggestions for places near Tinker I can get gift cards from for Lynch? Or, should I stick to NEX gift cards? He will have his vehicle there, but I don't know how much free time he will have once he gets there. He did tell me that after arriving he will be on hold for like 84 days....not sure what that's about.

Well, sorry you didn't get to see your sailor, but how nice to have the weekend with your hubby at the beach no less. :) I have a friend here with a home in Hilton Head, may go there again this summer to visit them.

Had a nice day with NE OH Navy Moms today.

Yes we do, Suzi!  This was the weekend I thought we would be spending time in Norfolk with my Sailor...but he didn't get leave.  So, since my hubby and I had time off already, we went to the beach......we are in Myrtle Beach right now.  Was about  77 degrees today.  Sooooo nice.  Ocean:  COLD!
