Awesome LeAnn! Hope to meet you later this year.
Rhonda - I am in the OK moms group too! Hope to join you at a Meet and Greet in the OKC metro.
Ladies,
If you are ever in OK to visit your sailor send me a message and maybe you can meet some of us OK Moms while you are here. We have meet and greets more often in Spring, Summer and Fall and could possible plan one for your visit. If not, we have several moms who are always eager to meet out of state Navy moms!
LeAnn ....
If you live in OK in the summer you should join our OK Navy Moms page so you can come to our meet and greets in the summer!!!
Carmen:
Funny about OKC and PHX, I live in OKC metro in summer and PHX metro in winter - just returned for the winter. Will send you a friend request.
My husband is stationed at Tinker with the VQ-3 squadron. He has been here since December and I moved here in May. We don't live on base because its a very small base and they do not have a lot of availability in housing. We live about 20 min off base in Norman and love the area. The base is very small but there is lots of things to do in the area. It was only a 10 hour drive form our home so I drove here with our children once a month until we moved and we loved all of our trips. I have been here a couple of months and the only people that I have met are his friends and unfortunately none of them are married so its kind of lonely for me out here.
My daughter just reported to Tinker last week. Glad to find a N4M group for our Air Force based Sailors!
Hello ladies! I am the admin of the Oklahoma Navy Moms group. Just wanted to stop by and let you know about our group too. If you need any help or if we can be of help in any way, just let us know. We have a great group of moms ready with Navy Mom hugs for any sailor in need. We come from all over the state and have been available for moms from out of state to help their sailors any way we can. I am happy to know there is a group for all of you since none of our sailors are stationed at Tinker.
