Happy Valentine's Day everyone!! My son asked if I was going to be his Valentine, lol!

That pic was such a nice surprise!! thanks so much for sharing!!! Lynch wasn't super interested in the game, but then I haven't heard from him since it began, so I'm guessing he is watching it somewhere. I was thinking that maybe they would have something in the barracks or something for everyone.

Kinda quiet here, Suzi.  How are you?  Fun to get a pic of our 2 boys!  I was certainly surprised.  Ha.  Is Lynch watching the game tonight?

Maybe they can have a little caravan, lol! At least it would be a safer drive for everyone.

You might have seen already...but I posted on a couple groups to see if there were any other moms with sailors...or should I say Aircrew....at Tinker.

Pamela....I looked at your pictures on your page here.....I have pics in some of the same spots with your sailor as I did mine.  Looks like you were in PCola 2008.  Mine were taken this past October.  So many emotional filled memories!  So.....how long has your son been in OK?  Where did he do SERE?  How exciting to see him soon!

Soooo, Lynch will be driving too?  Alex has a lot of miles on his car....and it has been in the shop for a while recently (the repair shop in PCola has taken advantage of this sailor).  I really wish he would sell it and get another one later on.

Pamela - so glad to hear from you....did your son like Tinker? What is his rate?

Lynch is driving his CRV with buddies up North and then out West, lol.....I'm crossing my fingers they make a stop in Ohio on the way up.

Ginnlynn - you poor thing......how does a mother react to a call like that? I have to say that I was thrilled when I found out Lynch would not be on a ship, in particular, a carrier. I know anything can happen at any time, but any amount of comfort we feel with our children is golden. I still worry about Lynch and his bulletproof attitude.

Ginn.....your son is driving his personal vehicle?  My son has his own car in PCola...he will soon be going to a destination WAY up north...then will be going out west.  I have advised him to try to sell it.....because otherwise, what will he do with it?  It will be a longggg haul and then, there is a storage issue.  He doesn't want to sell it.  I bet your son's job has been very rewarding!

Yes, he has been working on his.  Don't know if it is completed yet.  His wife got to fly down to visit for a long weekend.  They are thrilled.  I wish they could be together all the time....but guess it will be at least 2 years!  Hey....noticed your "meet and greets,"  Suzi,  having good turnouts?  I am sure that is a good time of fellowship!

Did you son finish his packet? Lynch was calling last night to ask for phone numbers, addresses, etc...It's totally freaking my mom out. She keeps worrying someone will say something to ruin Lynch's check. I'm like Mom!!! just chill!
