Lydia - you have greatly helped me over the past year-and-a-half as my son's been going through the pipeline.  We still need you and hope you stay in contact with us.  Thanks and enjoy visiting your son and daughter!

Lydia, as long as you don't leave us permanently I guess we can forgive you lol. Seriously, you have helped all of us along the way and we all appreciate it. I know you do lots of other stuff for our troops besides this site so don't worry about us. Just enjoy seeing those kids of yours and best of luck in finding a new place to call home. Safe travels and hope to hear from you soon. Luv ya!

Aster and Airmom... wouldn't it been kewl if yall could meet!  Congrats to BOTH of yall btw!

Proud, I totally agree with everything you said  hahahahah      I would have volunteered for the 800s FB site but I have my hands so full with packing and moving to Arizona AND this site here (which I soo apologize for being MIA so much lately)  but hopefully someone will volunteer....  it is so important that here and on FB we have each other's backs..

Sweetpea.... HI SISTA!!!      I totally agree.  We missed B's RSS, FRS and winging...  ugggggggggg      my husband has fought cancer hard for 8 years and during those 3 years of B's pipeline we missed them all due to multiple multiple surgeries, chemos etc....   THANK GOODness there were substitute mammas out there who went for me and took video and pictures (except the winging - heard about it the day it happened =(  ) so I agree, IF you can...  GO....   if not, try to def get someone there to take photos.. and give hugs..  tho that does not replace the real thing of course it is the NEXT best thing hahahah.....

Well, today (15th) I am getting ready to fly to Colorado to FINALLY see my boy and my daughter!!!!!  yea...... he is on two week leave from after his deployment..  I am so excited tho I do NOT like flying....   also we are going to Arizona to look for a place to live in Lake Havasu City...  our house sold in just 3 weeks!!!!!!!  If and WHEN all goes well and we close the deal on June 12th (my mammas bday) then we are off and running...  so yall please continue to forgive me being gone a LOT the next couple of months... I promise I will do my best to get in here as often as possible to help anyone needing help.... thank goodness a lot of yall have kids who are also throught the pipeline and can check in here to answer questions in my absence...  yall are smart studious mammas who have answers or will find them for each other...

My hat of love and respect is off to you all!!!!   Don't forget to invite newbies to join the site ....  you can go to the current PIR groups and let them know we are here...  that is what I do...  I visit to say HI and share our link ....  in fact that might be how some of YALL found it!  =D    okay love and hugs and I will see yall again soon.....  xoxoxoxoxox

Parents or love ones please try not to miss the FRAC graduation it may very well be your last opportunity. The winging ceremony will depend on the squadron and each will vary. It is very disappointing that not much recognition is given once they get to that point. That is just my observation and opinion!

Snowskiier- thanks for the info, it is greatly appreciated!! It is so interesting to watch each person's path to become an Air Rescue Swimmer ! How did your son like Jacksonville?

Lydia- I bet you are floating on air as you prepare to see your son!  Take lots of pics!!!! Looking forward to hearing your son's impressions about his first deployment!

Aster- You will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. You were there for my daughter. What a great impact you had on the quality of her life while on medical leave in San Diego. A thousand Thank You(s)

MamaD- yes... I agree that it is all about paying it forward! Bayswan took pics of the rescue swimmer class during her son's graduation and my son was in the pic! It made my day and gave me a great souvenir to put into his Navy memory album..( I keep meaning to start on that...yikes!)

To all those with sons graduating from FRS and being assigned to their duty stations.... Congrats!! How proud you must all be! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and insights to those of us with sons and daughters in earlier stages of the pipeline.

BTW... if anybody whose son/daughter has completed the pipeline... the current administrator is looking to hand off the site to someone who would keep the integrity of the site ( keeping Opsec and preveningt it from becoming an on line store) is interested in being an administrator of a FB site for the 800 division. She wants someone whose son/daughter has completed all phases of training. If this is something you are able/willing to do, please pm me and I will forward you on to the administrator:)

Hope you all had a beautiful, peaceful Mother's Day!

Mama D - That is so awesome. I sent you a friend request. I will message you my email address once you accept it. I believe that is how I do it. I thank you and your husband for taking pictures at graduation for me. My son is thinking there is going to be roughly 15 people at graduation. He said it has been a bit since they had one, so it is multiple classes.
