Hi yall, soooo sorry to be MIA...  the news of the bird going down hit me real hard.  A young gal friend of mine and my son (she attends his church in SD) her boyfriend is out and is an HSC 6....  we waited anxiously to hear if he was on that bird.  He was not..  but of course we now know that the two pilots are dead deep in the sea.  I am broken hearted and speechless.. imagine that!  This is always the fear of a Rescue Swimmer's mamma (and dad)...

Hi everyone...

aster, kev323, kkrHoosier, nancynature, soupmom, AIRR hi sis Im here thank you!!, Proud, Jodi, Any...  welcome back sis, HI EVERYONE...   I wrote a poem about this... writing is my way of dealing with life.... would yall like for me to copy it here??????????????????

From what Ive heard the 3 aircrew rescue swimmers survived the Pilots did not. So sad, huge loss to the whole community.

I am so saddened by this tragedy as my husband and I just returned from my son's FRS graduation in San Diego. Our happiness for his accomplishments quickly turned to sadness for these fellow sailors who have been lost.

SoupMom that is a great idea - wish I had one to lower too. My heart aches for those missing....praying for them all.

I have a Navy flag that I proudly fly. I will be lowering it to Half Mast to Honor the two air crewmen and their families. Praying for all involved.

My heart aches for them... is there a page or site that we can write on to express our condolences?

I have not been on in a while. But today I have to say. My heart, love and prayers go out to HSC 6! To the families, friends, loved ones, and HSC brotherhood, my heart aches.
