Jean,

Glad you had a nice weekend.  I hope the busy is good busy!!  My weekend was good.  Helped hubby replace parts on our hot water heater.  Electric wires got fried somehow and had to get replaced.  Thank God propane side still worked so we weren't without hot water.

JayDee,

That's unfortunate that neighbor left door unlocked again.  I hate to play devil's advocate but has neighbor always been forgetful like that or is this something new?  I ask because maybe this is a subconscious rebellion???  I thought about getting locks that lock when the door closes, but then I could see her locking herself and the dogs out.  Just my brain rambling . . . .

So today I had a three hour nuclear stress test and pictures/Cat scan of my heart.  My doctor thinks I had a heart attack sometime in the past and wanted additional tests.  Already had the echo.  I'm thinking - wouldn't I know if I had a heart attack??  Just not sure how I want to deal with this.  With all the hiking I did last year, I never felt like there was a problem afterwards.

ok, enough rambling.

The neighbor let the dogs out again tonight as I went to a retirement party after work. Tonight the side door was unlocked despite the note on it that said "please lock" and the fact we discussed it today! Front door and front screen door were locked. Love this neighbor their daughter and my sailor were best friends since they were 4. Need new dog help. Sailors boyfriend used to do it but now that they've broken up I hate to ask him. Oh well first world problems!

Anna, my weekend was very busy. Like these last few days. I don't get good internet at work so I can only read the posts. It messes up my phone so I can't respond. How was your weekend.

JayDee,

I'm sorry for your frustrations but I'm glad you did finally get some time with the hubby and you got home and everything was safe and sound in the end!!  Back when I lived in Annapolis I came home one night with the 3 youngest kids and not only was our back door unlocked but it was slightly opened.  I was a little concerned so we went to the neighbor's house and called the police.  They came and went inside and checked everything out, no one was inside and they said nothing looked disturbed.  Determined oldest son went out and didn't lock up and evidently didn't even close door tight and the wind blew it open a bit.  But the police said it was better to be safe and have them check it!!  Does unnerve ya just a bit!!!!

Oleander,

Oh how happy you get to visit with the grandson.  I hate that I can't see my two girls more often.  Luckily the 5 year old can remember us now even if we don't see her in person but when we skype with the now 3 year old it still takes her a long time to warm up to hubby and I.  Until I go pick up my kitty and the little one sees her - then I'm good as gold!!!!!

Wow Blondie, sounds like you have a mess at your office.  I'm starting to think that people don't have pride in what they do anymore.  We moved into a brand new fancy office building back in August.  New everything.  We'd come in and find that the cleaning people had dribbled coffee grounds on the carpet when they were moving the trash  from our cans to the cart or banana peels on the floor when they'd fallen out during the trash transfer.  They would push the emergency exit button to keep the doors to the hall open, then leave them like that.  I come in at 6:30 and would find all kinds of interesting stuff.  Our office manager would talk to the building management and all would be fine for a couple days then the carelessness would start again.  Yesterday I was talking to a lady from another company in the building and she was telling me what was going on in their suite.  She thought it was just them, seems like it's everywhere.  No matter what we do, we should take pride in our work and do it right.

Oh - Good morning everyone!  :)

Anna no it was the frustration of the situation. We spent a whole hour together but it was nice. Just got home to find the doors unlocked. :( Neighbor let out my dogs and I guess he forgot to lock up. His car was just broken into so you think he'd check. Fortunately we live in a safe neighborhood but stuff happens.

I hope by now you and your hubby are enjoying a nice dinner!!!  I sure hope the crying didn't have anything to do with your talk with the sailor?!?!

That's a bummer but sometimes we have to do what we have to do. I hope you get some decisive news soon.

I was supposed to meet my husband 3 hours ago an hour and a half from home. He got delayed and I'm still waiting. I talked to sailor, cried and shopped. Now I'm exhausted sitting in a restaurant waiting. It will be a quick dinner a long ride home to anxious dogs and trying to get up at 4:30 am for work. I'm so pathetic. :(
