JayDee,

Good news on hearing from your girl!!!  So sorry to hear she was so sick!!!  Hope she is better now and starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel on her bootcamp training!!!!

Finally got a letter from my gal. First contact in 13 days. I was starting to get worried as the last time we talked she was going to medical. Sounds like she was quite sick but still on track for 10/30. I'll be glad when bootcamp is over!

Good morning everyone!

Prayers Anna! Got a knot in my stomach about your son's layoff. Our son went thru that a few years ago - I understand! And of course for you and your Catherine! (fingers and toes crossed too).

Blondie, sorry your weekend was so difficult. Amazing to meet Staff Sgt Shilo Harris! Oh the tears! Such an honor.

My girl is pretty sick, not sure she can make it home. :-( Would love a prayer or two.

Have a good day everybody!

Anna, don't eat tomatoes. Tomatoes cause inflammation. I found that out with my knees. If I eat tomatoes my knees hurt more. Looked it up and found out that all nightshade plants cause inflammation. Maybe that will help a little with the pain until your appointment. Sorry it will take so long.

Anna sounds like you have your hands full. Prayers for all of you.

Well my appointment at the VA did not offer up any information on my knee problem except that I got an appointment for PT a week from this Friday!!!  Just great - - another week and a half of hobbling on crutches.  I'm getting too old for walking on sticks!!!!!  Will keep you posted.

Yes, this week is crawling for sure!!!  Daughter Catherine has a very important interview on Saturday morning at 0800!!!  She is really hoping that it will lead to a job offer after her internship is over and she graduates!!!  Please say a prayer for her.  And for oldest son who just got word that he will be laid off this Friday.  He has had a couple interviews but nothing has panned out yet.  Please keep him in your prayers as well!!! Thank you each and everyone of you!!!!
