roliesmom,

Happy Birthday to your daughter!!!  And enjoy your time with her!!  Lucky you!!

bbcregular,

So happy your girl had a fun and safe birthday celebration.  Thank God for her supportive shipmates!!

Oleander,

I really pray this is a turning point for your daughter and her childish female shipmates.  Let's hope this positive turn continues for her!!!

Jean,

So happy for you - even tho you have to go through these boring training days.  I remember my last job I was so over qualified for but I just wanted a less stress, less demand job than I had in the school system.  I thought I was going to be bored to death going through two weeks of training from a girl much younger than me and with very limited education.  She was training me like I was a middle school student.  But I survived - it was just hard to be patient.  So hang in there and this part will be over!!!

Thank you for the prayers ladies for my son.  I will keep you posted as I learn what's happening next!!!

Anna,
Praying for your son and his family.

bbcregular,
Happy birthday to your daughter and BRAVO to her shipmates!

Jean,
Glad to hear it's going well. The first week is always boring. I always got more tired shadowing people than I actually did working, lol

Oleander,
Happy to hear things are improving for your daughter, continued prayers for her.

Today is my sailors 21st birthday also!! She won't be here today but she will be with me tomorrow. Ohhh happy day!!!

Good morning to Everyone.
Thank you everyone, 1st day went well. A little boring but OK. I guess it is because all ii did was shadow everyone. Didn't really get to do anything. Won't be able to until probably Monday. Bummer.

Call last night from daughter. A group of five went out for sushi to celebrate. She was served a drink and the group laughed that she could not drink it and they took it away. I am so happy for the group of friends that she has made in such a short time. They are truly working as a team and taking care of one another. Other positive things about her job working out for her.

Her life has been surrounded in a Christian bubble; home schooled, private Christian school in high school, one year in developing country with missionary and private Christian college. Now breaking out of the bubble in the Navy. We have been in prayer about all she will be exposed to and have kept a non judging open dialogue. All that to say that we are pleased that the first drink turned out ok. Covered in prayer by many.

I want each of you to know that as I read your comments I petition the Father about your concerns and for you Sailor.

LostMama, your story was hard to read and I'm truly sorry for what you and your daughter are going through. My heart aches for you, you're included in my best wishes and prayers.

You too Anna - sending prayers to you and your son.

cjbmom, sending your daughter strength and endurance for her PT tomorrow! So glad she had a good birthday, wishing you a happy bday tomorrow!

bbcregular Happy 21st to your daughter!

Fantastic lovey! such great news even tho it means less time with your girl.

It appears things are moving in a more positive direction for my daughter and that the talk with the 3rd classman did help to ease some of the tension. She had a much more productive day. Phew! thanks again.
