OMG Blondie,
What next huh??? So sorry she had an accident but I'm glad she wasn't seriously hurt or the driver of the other vehicle. But she still needs to reach out to Mom afterwards.

Hello OhioNavyMom,
Glad to see you here!!!

JAS,
Good news about your dad! Hope he continues to improve and is able to come home soon.

Blondie,
Exercise can be a difficult habit to get back into!! We all know it gives so many benefits and can make us feel better, but it seems when we feel tired and run down, exercise is the last thing we want to do!!! And I have a nice exercise room as part of our apartment complex, but haven't taken advantage of it yet.

Hello everyone!! First chance I've had to get on my computer all weekend so I have some catching up to do!! Feeling very weepy right now - Jenn left to go back north and I just miss her sooo much. Once again, I'm missing all my kids and realize I just don't get to see as much as I'd like. Talked to the Sailor Son today and he made me laugh about how he would handle his second sister being an officer in the Navy!! He told me to warn her not to ever trust any intel she would get from him (ie - coordinates to blow up her own house!!!) Oh boy!!

NavyMom,
So sorry to hear about daughter's break in. I hope they do find all her stuff that was taken. Maybe then she can get a small safe to keep valuables locked away, especially when she's gone. Hope they punish the perps!!

Blondie and Wade,
Please get your thyroid checked out if there is suspicion that it is causing your health issues. I almost died from a serious thryroid condiditon 20+ years ago. In fact an endocrinologist was amazed I was still alive when I was sent to him by my family doctor. After two years and massive amounts of medications he finally got everything back under control. Still have some lingering issues but nothing compared to what I was dealing with. It just messes up so many other organs and systems. And I was told I'd never have any other children but I proved him wrong on that count also!! But it was by a heck of alot of prayer!!!! (that's not the way I would really say it, but it is Sunday after all!!!)
And I still get my blood checked for thyroid levels at least once a year.

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend! Joanne sounds like you had a interesting weekend at work - some good winnings and a fun customer!! jk
JAS and Pat - hope all is well with both of you. We haven't heard from DC in awhile - hope all is well with her also and all of our other members we haven't heard from in awhile!!!
Weather here is BEAUTIFUL!! But we are supposed to get some rain tonight and tomorrow. That's ok tho' my car needs rinsing off from my beach adventures!!! Either that or I have to go wash it!!
Have a great remaining weekend and I'll check in with everyone Monday!!!

But today was much nicer - sun was not hiding behind clouds and winds calmed down a bit. We had some beach time and played in the sand!! Water was freezing tho'!!!

Good Evening everyone!! I'm back home! Jenn and I had a blast. The first day it was really windy and cold as all get out. Couldn't spend much time outside so we didn't go to the beach at all. But our hotel had an indoor pool and hot tub, so guess where we went?!?! This morning Jenn and I got up (voluntarily, but this is "vacation") at 6:30 in the morning so we could wrap up in the bedspread and go out on our balcony to watch the sunrise!! We drank mimosas and took pictures - - then went back to bed until 8:30!!!! It was sooooo neat!!! Here's a pic of the sunrise over the Atlantic at Nags Head!!

Joanne,
I hope it goes away and leaves you alone!!!!

Good Evening everyone!!
Today was shopping at the mall and picking up a few things for the beach. Tomorrow and Wednesday are beach days. I'm kinda bummed because now the temps are much cooler than what they predicted last week - stupid weathermen - you just can't trust them!!!! lol But at least if we have sunshine we'll be ok!! I just don't want cold and rain!!!

Joanne,
So sorry about all the weather problems you are having there!!! Hang on!! Don't let that wind get the best of you! Hope you aren't having flooding problems!! And yes, keep us posted on Ks travels and let us know when you know that she made it safely back. And remember - we are here for you!! I'll say a prayer for the two of you tonight!!!

Glad everyone else seems to be ok!! We've had several new members join in the last few days. I hope they jump on here and let us get to know them!!
The more the merrier!!
