Safe, fun trip, Pat.

Pat, I'm with you on baking ... don't care for it at all. Both my sons learned to cook because they wanted cookies and I only made them at Christmas. I would tell them that if they wanted them, make them. The rule was if you make them, you MUST cook all of them. No messing up the kitchen, bake one tray to eat and leaving everything. I would wash things up IF they rinsed and stacked the dishes.

Blondie: Many hugs. I'm sorry that you have losses to face.

Okay, group, I must get some things in the mail. I'm off for the day. Have a great one!

I wonder if Ning is going to give us back our numbered pages. I hate this new system. They should ask us about changes before they implement them in case we don't want them!!!!!

The test she is taking and HAS to do well on is the Aviation Selection Test Battery. It is the officer equivalent of the ASVAB. She also had to submit an application and an essay. She hopes to hear that they will accept her by Jan. Then she has to pass the physical test in the spring. If she isn't accepted, she won't be able to try again for a year.

Joanne,
Oh Thank God that it wasn't her gifts that came back!!! I can't even think about trying to read something without my glasses!!!

I had a very interesting evening!!! I just got through watching my daughter Jennifer conduct a Girl Scout meeting with a bunch of little Daisy's. She asked if I wanted to come along and I said sure. And to think that 15 years ago I was the Leader and she was one of my little Daisy's. All the girls thought that was so cool that I started as her leader and now she's doing that!!!! I just sat there and smiled!!!! Tomorrow I'm going with her as she talks to her recruiter about getting into the Navy!!! She wants to go into the BDCP program and become an officer. She says that someone in the family has to follow in Dad's footsteps!!!! Please say a prayer that she does well on her ASTB test. After she finishes college and goes to OCS she wants to go to flight school. She has to do well on this test to get accepted. I thought I was done sending kids to the Navy!!!!
