Pat, No problem on your abrupt disappearance. Hope you had a good conversation with jenn. We did bail out after a while. I had to put away the pizza that was still on the counter and I had to go to bed.

NH-Mom: I hope your migraine is gone! Did you go to Husson or UMaine? V. graduated from UMaine. I think Bangor is confusing because of all the one-way streets. We are getting better at getting around.

It is a gorgeous day today. The sun is shining ... but it is rather chilly.

Joanne what am I going to do with you. I could do my stalking hit and miss. Actually I feel like stalking the mail man, I swear he is hiding my letters from our girl. Still none today. I hope she gets a slew of them tomorrow. I sent another 2 out today. The only thing about when we play the Yankees is my girl is a huge Yankees fan. Talk about a house divided. Anyway off to the movies with my oldest baby. I will talk to you all tomorrow after the Angels close out the series. Oh and Puffy will be posting again tomorrow. :) I"ll feel better when she starts reading about his adventures while she in in BC. Night ladies

Anna, we live not too far from Bangor. We were just shopping. Ellsworth doesn't have much.

Well Hello everyone!! Remember me?? lol
This part time job turned into more than a full-time job. That's what I get for choosing to work in a costume shop right before Halloween!!! My feet and ankles are killing me because I spend 9 hours or more on my feet non-stop. This ole' bod isn't accustomed to this!!! Oh well - only temporary I keep telling myself. At least I'll have some money for Christmas gifts.

I see we have some new members on here - welcome to all!! Glad to have you with us. And it's good to see some who haven't been here in awhile. Always glad to have you stop by and check in!!! I was able to keep up with most of the posts but not enough to respond to any in particular. I am so happy to hear that Shai is back home and under momma's care!!
Pat, no news on Jenn yet?
DC, I was interested in hearing about you visiting Bangor. Do you have family there? That is where I am going in 4 weeks and two days. Not that I'm keeping count or anything like that!!!
I hope everyone else is doing ok! I'm off tomorrow so maybe I can do more catching up!!! Take care Moms!!!!1

Raineegal, I love Hope. But then I am partial to cats. They are so independent.

Joanne, football is so much more exciting tht baseball ... in my opinion.

Marianne, when you find out what quals are let us know. Oh, I see Pat answered you. I'll have to pass along Jenn's advice to V. She is fairly independent and has little patience with those who don't do their job.

KR, My husband has knee replacement surgery scheduled for Tuesday of the following week. Right now he is a little "ticked" at his surgeon so who knows. Of course, I plant the idea of staying longer. We could visit very close friends AND see four of our granddaughters, including one we have never met. That would be so much fun. With this stupid chemo stuff our life has been limited.

KR, also hugs for your grandmother. It's so tough when a loved one is seriously sick. Where in Nebraska does she live? I lived in Lincoln for four years. My son is a die-hard Husker fan and my husband a die-hard Sooner fan. That makes for some interesting kidding.

NavyMom, what's wrong with snowing?? I love it. I was thinking about it today.

When we went to Bangor today, I had my jacket and cap in the car. The problem is that I don't need them inside but getting from the car to the door ... brr! I need more hair!

Pat when we lived in FL I used to turn up the AC so I could built a fire. What's unusual about that??

Marianne, if you look at the bottom mid-right hand side of the page, you will see "Navy Mom's Chat." Right now there are 155 on line ... don't know how many are chatting. Our chat would be much smaller. Pat's right, you can access it from the tab along the top of the page ... over to the right. Problem is that we all check it at different times! Maybe I should just delete it.

Cooper, where is your daughter's homeport going to be ... if you can tell us?

Pizza was good. I have a good recipe for dough. I dump whatever on top. This evening, I had sausage, onions, green peppers, mushrooms along with mozzerella and seasoned tomato sauce.

My husband and I went to a very nice Argentine restaurant for lunch. It is a special place and we only go once or twice a year. Lovely empanadas for appetizers and tomato basil soup. My husband had quiche and I had a Cuban sandwich with pork and ham. Then we split creme brule. Oh, yes, we each had a glass of wine. Went to Bed, Bath and Beyond ... couldn't get the coffee we wanted. Went to Staples ... couldn't get the printer we wanted. Went to Joann's and spent too much money on fabric. A good day!

Good evening. I just returned from Bangor. We accomplished some things on our list and not others. I'm fixing pizza right now. I'll be back later. Just wanted to say hi.

Joanne - You can begin rooting for the Angels when they start their series against the Yankees later next week.
