Pat what time is Jenn's appointment on Friday?
Comment by Anna on September 30, 2009 at 6:16pm
Pat,
OMG!! I am so sorry to hear about Jenn's test. Your young lady has been through so much, I'm not surprised she finally reached a breaking point. But I agree with NavyMomXXXY, I would have her very nicely explain that she has lost confidence with that person and can she get someone else on Friday. Please continue to remind her that there are so many Moms that are praying for her and keeping her in our thoughts!! Love and hugs being sent to you also!!

Linda, I'm sorry Jenn will be off to Afghanistan. Is she likely to return to Sicily? If not, why not have the Navy ship her stuff back to you? There may be some uncertainty about whether they would pay to ship it to the next duty station after that. If she has to leave her car, can she leave it in a garage. Second when we were on sabbatical in Ireland for a yer, we took the battery out of the car and left it in our garage. It was fine.

I suspect the best thing for the cats is to find a good home. That is so hard. We did have a "pet nanny" for our cat for six months. We originally had a house sitter who was in charge of caring for the cat. That did not work out and we kicked him out and hired the pet nanny. A good friend would go over ever couple of weeks to give him a love.

My brother was stationed in Japan. He and his wife "sold" their car to a friend for a very low price with a written agreement that they would buy it back for the same price when they returned. That way the other person was responsible for maintenance and insurance etc. It worked out well.

Pat, Moms and g'moms are masters of worrying. For a while, V. was not venting so I would not worry. While I do worry, I think it is healthier for her to vent and move on.

Pat, I checked out spinal taps on the internet. Here is a site that gives good information for you:

http://www.webmd.com/multiple-sclerosis/guide/multiple-sclerosis-sp...

I completely understand your concern but really the test looks like it is fairly straight forward. I had an epidural for a surgery and it was not bad. In that they also went into the spinal column. In any case, I will keep Jenn in my prayers for an easy test and good results. Many hugs!

Sorry Joanne and Pat. As an avid Angel fan I can't say that I am upset that the Sox are in a slump.. Just beat Texas again. Not as bad as last night's 11 -0 but a good 5 -2. Doing better texted Lisa who is a sad Giants fan during the game. Will wait for the letter to arrive and post some Puffy's adventures when I figure out how.
