Roliesmom,

That is good news!!!  Funny, I just looked up Lancaster and saw that it is near Apple Valley.  My hubby bought land in AV before we got married.  Turned out if was part of a real estate scam targeting young Naval Officers!!!!  We have a rock from there and that is all now!!!!

JayDee,

I wish I could tell you some good news about this knee issue but I can't!!!!  The ortho dr here in San Diego doesn't even want to consider me as a patient - guess I'm just not good enough!!!  I do have an appointment with Physical Medicine about getting injections but looks like now I'm gonna have to wait until we go to Oklahoma where the girls are and stay there for awhile.  At least if they can do something I'll have both my daughters around to help me with recovery!!!  I just want someone in the VA medical field to help me regain some mobility without having such excruciating pain!!  Is that too much to ask for????

Blondie,

So happy to hear daughter and baby are doing good!!!!!  Praying everything continues on a good note!!!  I thought your daughter had separated some time ago when they moved to DC.  Wasn't she going reserve or did she decide not to go that route??

Andrea,

Always nice to talk to you as well!!!!

Greetings Oneofalot and Oleander!!!!

Great to hear things are going well for your daughter and baby, Blondie. C'mon March!

Good morning everyone!

Anna I was wondering about your knee.  Any updates, have you gotten in to see a doctor who doesn't want to start all over?

Comment by Roliesmom on December 6, 2016 at 8:30am
Thanks Anna, I'm soo excited also to see them. Yes, we met him 6 months ago. He came home with her. Nice young man, easy to talk to. He was really liking weather when they were here in the early summer. We are in the desert of CA, so it's a dry heat. Over in VA it's alot of humidity, they told us. It's just nice to have them coming home :)

That is great!!!  Enjoy!!!

Roliesmom,

So good to hear from you again!!  Glad to hear everything is still going well for your girl, but sorry she is gone so much!!!  I'm so thrilled to get to see her and her bf end of this month.  Have you met him before???

Jappj,

Happy to hear from you also!!!  Both sailors doing well???  Will they be able to spend time together when her ship gets to San Diego??  I'm staying in San Diego for another month and I heard about the ship coming here.  I hope I get a chance to see it come in!!!!
