Blondie those are great pictures!  You and your sister look so  much alike!  Looks like everyone had fun.

Blondie, this is the stuff movies are made of lol! Great story and one that I'm sure everyone will remember forever. Sounds like you had a good time - you've deserved it!

Thanks JayDee, we made it to the top about 8,500 ft - incredible views of the valley and nice to be in 70 degrees  instead of the 100 down below! Definitely make sure your dress fits before the wedding! I'm sure you'll have some great stories, I just hope a broken zipper won't be one of them!

Wow Blondie, sounds like you had quite a weekend!  Things I need to remember for next month.  I will be very sure my dress fits when I buy it.

Oleander, great to hear that you got to spend some time with your sailor.  Hiking sounds like fun.  It's something my sailor and I do together also as we have some nice state parks near us.

Anna - sounds like you made it safely.  I can't imagine driving my husbands truck along some of those roads not to mention an RV.  You're braver than I am!

Morning everyone,

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I was lucky enough to spend mine with my sailor. Got some good hiking in - shopping and a  movie too!

Love hearing about your travels - be safe out there Anna and bbcregular!

Good morning

Anna I will check into it for you. I know there is camping near Camp Pendleton, beach side. I will look into it after work. I can ask one of the ladies at work. They have a trailer and big truck. She may know. Safe travels.

Have a good day everyone.

What about camp pendleton? Don't know what they have other than beach camping but worth checking. Safe travels!

Catsmom,

Hubby was looking around San Clemente.  We want something that can take 40 foot trailers plus the big truck, has 50amp service, water and sewer hookups.  30amp will also do if the temps are too hot and we can handle one or two nights without sewer.  Also, not too expensive.  We plan on about 2 days and on or around Oct 16th.  Our dates are flexible right now.  Let me know if you know of something we can check into!!!  Thanx!!

Good morning.

Anna, where in the area would you like to stay? I can get the info for you. Doherty is right on the coast. And is beautiful. I love sunset walks too. Have fun in Washington. Safe travels. When do you expect to get down to So Cal?

bob regular, safe travels to you also. Enjoy our beautiful coastline when you get here.

Walked early morning on the beach. So calming and peaceful.

Have a good weekend everyone.
