I heard on the news the other day that they turned around a flight into Phoenix (or another hot city in AZ) because it was too hot to land?  Really?  The news reporter said that if it was over 115 they weren't allowed to land.  Didn't make sense to me as I thought that there were a lot of military flight tests in the desert.  No landing must be causing chaos at the airports.

Yep, we've been breaking lots of recods...grr. 122 in some parts of the valley...go us!

Wow - you guys are really getting slammed huh? Please be safe.

spyder, you sizzling? You're usually about 10 degrees "warmer" than we are. We broke our June 20 record on Monday, it was 114 here.

Blondie, I was wondering how much of it you guys got.  Went north of us.  Heard on the news this morning the Cincinnati got hit hard and was still under tornado watches at 7:00 am.

Glad all is well!

Blondie, I think you're getting what we had earlier.  It was not pretty.  I have some huge limbs down in my back yard and our power was out.  We have another round on the way.  Be safe!

Anna, good luck with your kitty!

Ha! JayDee - my angel and your angel sound like sisters. I found a nice little pile of sweat pants, swim suit, socks, etc on the floor of her room when I got home on Monday. Some things never change -- I guess that brings balance.

Anna, keep us posted on your kitten, hope she's ok!

Nice try Anna but the darling angel is a slob!  These are clothes that stay here, she was just too lazy to put them in the hamper or bring them down to the laundry room.  Kids.
