Hi everyone, happy Friday the 13th and full moon (eeeks) : )

Blondie, Navymoms wouldn't open at all this morning. I hope you get to be inside during your Kids fest, hate to think of you out in that stormy weather.

Well, Monday my sailor girl goes on her 1st underway! Just a couple months ago they didn't think they'd be able to start the engines. Here they go!... Thankfully for just 10 days and staying in San Diego waters but if it goes well who knows what's next. I'd appreciate any positive vibes and prayers going her (their) way!

Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

Thank you Ladies!!  It means so much to her and our family.  She's been in the Navy for almost 6 years!!!  The first two she was still in college, but then she went to OCS and flight training in Pensacola, and went through SERE in the winter in Maine.  After all that she was med down for a year and a half!!!  Now finally, her time starts counting towards her contract obligations.  By the time she pays back the US Navy she will be eligible for retirement!!!!!!!!!!  (well not quite, but you understand!!!)
