Thanks Cjbmom, I got and accepted your friends request on her when u sent it. I will have to check into the phone thing. We have AT&T also, shes on the next program with a Galaxy 5. If she could take her phone that would be awesome. if nothing else we have a 4 so we could always see if they can unlock that. I will definitely come to u when we have questions.
Hellraiser,
I sent you a friend request a while back when you posted that your daughter was going and that she is a MA. Mine is too. As far as cell service, she kept her phone from here iPhone and we have AT&T so they suspended her line and unlocked her phone. She got an international SIM when she got over there. I don't think she has a phone plan, but she does have a phone number. We use an app for texts and Skype as much as possible. I do usually get to talk to her daily. I know this will change when she is actually working right now its just a lot of classes and such...I will be happy to answer any questions.
Beautiful cjbmom!!!! So good to know she's doing well. Very exciting!
cjbmom, great pics, i seen someone else on fb Post on Navy moms Bahrain a picture of a camel,Mine leaves next month for there. Trying to spend as much time with her as she allows us to. I know its definitely going to be hard. What is your daughter doing for cell service and making calls and stuff home?
Good Afternoon Ladies,
Happy almost Friday!! Can hardly wait!
Here are a couple of pics of my baby girl in Bahrain. She's been there for a couple of weeks and is a lil bored with all the classes right now - other than that, she's good. A lil homesick but I know that will get better when she actually starts working. She did get out and see the city!
Have a good rest of the day!
Vickyrun, Congratulations to Chrissy! awesome news, makes all us moms happy.
Sarahsmom, Hugs. I feel your pain. My girl is on the opposite coast. So very hard not to see her, and my grandson. Hugs to your girl too.
I will catch up when I get home. Had a few minutes at work, and figured..Hey I am the boss, I can take a short breather..LOL
Praying for all along the east coast. Praying VA. does not get hit hard. My girl lives 4 blocks from the beach in Virginia Beach. and I know a lot of us have sailors there.
