Hi lovey1020, Today was my last day in Texas with my daughter. I took her to buy a watch that she wanted. She has a rugged black watch to wear with her cammies but wanted a dress watch for her other uniforms. Yes they want watches.

HI all, I had a great weekend. We got to Skype with Chrissy three times. She seems to be okay but I am not sure what happened. Her ex-husband (Aidan's father)  is concerned. When I dropped off Aidan he asked to talk to me outside, he asked if I knew what happened, I said I didn't know.

MamaBear, you can email them when they are on the ship. The reason that there is limited contact in BC is so they learn to work together as a team and be military. The military is not just a job, it is a lifestyle.

sarahsmom,

So happy you got your letter.  It makes time go faster when you can start making plans and you'll get to hear from her in a little while!!!

Andrea,

We need to find a time to chat and do some catching up!!!!

I'm glad that I've been able to post for her...looks like she's having an awesome time :-)

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, I really want to extend a very warm "Welcome" to all those that have recently joined us...I'm so looking forward to getting to know all of you!

I was in a bit of a funk when I got home in Feb, Rachael was able to visit a couple times and I'm now getting better. I'm thrilled that my girls are now living by each other and getting to spend time together...they actually seem to like each other now LOL My FIL has been visiting for the last month we just returned him home to TN...now time to get ready for the grand baby.  Catsmom has me envious...in a good way of course!

Anna, Rachael is doing really well...she has just a month to go...be here before I know it.  Naturally, it's going to mess up our bike trip west! Great timing on her part LOL

I'm going to try to keep up now, fingers crossed, so I don't miss out on anything!!!!  Have a great Sunday everyone!

Posting a few more pics for Catsmom...hmmm I thinking she may be a proud grandma?! :-) For the record I love the one of her and her little man!

I am so excited to be reading all of your posts on here!!  I love all the sharing with each other.  And welcome to all our new moms, I will be getting my personal message to you all soon!!  And for the record, I smelled my girls dirty clothes too.  While at MEPS a young man who was going into the Marines loaned her his sweatshirt because she was cold.  That came home in her box and I had to hunt his family down to return it!!!  (I didn't smell that!!)

kjsdaughter,

I will say a prayer for your girl that her swollen leg is nothing major and that she gets better real soon.  Hope this doesn't delay her at all.

lovey and MamaBear,

So glad you all got phone calls.  Those few precious moments of communication are priceless!!!  Congrats on their achievements.

And congratulations to our Grandmas!!!!  Catsmom, so happy the little guy is doing better and is home now!!

Vickyrun,

Congrats on your new granddaughter.  Have fun with the little guy and meeting his cousin.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.  Hubby and I are in Wyoming now, taking our time heading to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone.  Then up to Montana!!!
