Vickyrun, so happy you had a good time with your sailors. Makes a momma happy to be with her girl. Making good memories to hold until the next time we can be with them, always a good thing. :-)

Blondie, happy your girl is on the mend, Praying for a speedy recovery! She has found herself a good man! Good for him for stepping up and doing what has to be done. ((((Hugs))) to all of you.

Jean, hope you hear soon so you can start your new job. Sounds like this is the one that was meant to be.

Feeling a little better, sleeping till 7:30 is something I rarely do. Have a good day everyone. Prayers for all our sailors and all of you.

Good morning all, Congrats on the new job, Jean.

<See my new profile pic with Chrissy! I had  a good visit with my two sailors yesterday. I got to talk to them more since it was just the three of us. I found out they do get Aidan for dinner the last night of leave/vacation before going back east. So that makes my grandma heart happy. They had fun, we went wine tasting to 4 rooms open downtown , and they took me out to dinner at Bella Rosa. She bought me a bottle of wine and a wine glass from my favorite Scott Harvey.I think they bought wine from all the rooms! I lost count, lol They spoiled me! But boy can those sailors drink, they called me a lightweight lol! I just loved showing my new son-in-love our historic downtown. They went back to Sac after dinner, as it is closer to Aidan and my oldest daughter.

Good !morning to Everyone.
Blondie, will do. I think they will be training me so far in house, since I have already did what the job is. I did it for over 10 years. I'm really going to like this job. I felt at home when I was there. Still haven't heard when I'll be starting. They wanted me there today but didn't hear that yet.
Blondie, glad your daughter is doing better. Will keep pray for you and you family.
Catsmom, praying you will feel better too.

Jean, YAY! Congradulations.

Welcome MartiB_TX, I live in southern Calif. Not sure where you will be in Cali, would love to meet you if you have the time. I am about an hour North of San Diego.

Vickyrun, I know you will have fun with Chrissy! She sold get her son all week, epically before deployment.

Blondie, how is your girl? Praying she is getting well.

Caught a head cold from the flight..not fun. My boss told me I should have stayed home, so I am taking tomorrow off. She will be out on Thursday and Friday, so I have to play boss..oh yea!

They want me to start tomorrow but am not sure if I can get all my ducks in a row before then. Meaning Background check and drug test done. It could be as early as tomorrow or as late as Monday next week. Time will tell. I am off to do that stupid drug test.

Good morning all, Welcome MartiBTx, I live in California, if you need any help let me know. I live in a small town in the foothills, Sutter Creek. My home is always open to fellow Navy Moms. "West Coast is the Best Coast."

Chrissy is trying to convince her hubby that California is the place to live after they get out of the Navy. So far so good. They are coming up here today, we are going wine tasting and out for dinner. She had to give Aidan back to his father last night because he has school today. Why she doesn't get him after school? Idk, so ridiculous she is only here for a week but only get she her son for three days? Then she is going out on deployment for 6 - 9months. Ugh! Well, I try to stay out of it. At lest Aidan is close by me, hopefully I can give him several times while Chrissy is gone.
