Today is Chrissy's 30th Birthday. I have been a Navy Mom for almost 6 years. Missing birthdays and holidays is still hard.

Anna, thank you for the wonderful compliment! I would love to be "trapped" in the house with some fun Navy sisters! Terry actually made it into work yesterday, got there and then they closed the base so turned around and came right back home LOL Hope the wedding party and family members make it in safely and with no delay in flights!!! Counting down now...how is Jenn doing?? Any bridezilla moments yet? LOL

Catsmom, yay for Crystal!!! Keeping her in my prayers! That's crazy no hot water and at the Navy Lodge?! Probably giving her flash backs to deployment! LOL Oh and sucks you have to go in so early today...hope it's an uneventful day for you ;-)

Anna, praying for no rain on Sat. I saw the weather report and said let them be wrong.

Crystal passed part of of her Cer. Test. Part 2 is on Friday. Not sure if her water was fixed or not. She said she was so stressed about the test, she threw up before she left for class. My poor baby. Please Pray she passes part 2. I told her she will pass that one too.
Off to bed. Boss is sick, so I have to go in at 5:30 am.

Catsmom,

We had some rain overnight here as well.  Don't know how wide spread it was but I know it's not enough.  They are saying we're due more rain on Saturday.  Please mother nature - - any day EXCEPT Saturday!!!!  I hope your daughter does well on her certification!!!  I'm sure she will but like my girls, they always fear they aren't going to pass!!!!  They put so much stress on themselves!!  Sorry to hear about her water issues!!!  That just adds to her stress!!!!

Andrea,

Sorry about the ice you're getting!!!  I understand your cabin fever but you have such a beautiful house I wouldn't mind being stuck in it!!!  Of course if you and I were there together it would be super fun!!!!  Hubby would be running for the hills!!!!  Those girls of yours and their beach pictures..... you think you do a good job raising young women and they turn on you!!!!!!  LOL

Jean,

So sorry your daughter got the flu!!  I hope she gets better real soon and Aurora stays healthy!!!

Good morning everyone,

Jean, sorry Christina has the flu, hope she is feeling better. Praying you and Aurora don't get it. I know you enjoyed your time with Aurora.

Andrea, hope you get that retail therapy..LOL Stay safe on the icy roads. Happy your girls are spending time together on the beach. I am sure you loved the pictures..LOL

Crystal has part one of her cert. test today, I know she will pass, but she is worried. She is feeling blah, she has no hot water again, has a bad cold . She said I just want to go home where I can take a hot shower. This is the 3 rd time in a month she has no hot water. So much for staying in the Navy Lodge.
We had rain most of the night, woke up to heavy rain this morning. Might get more this afternoon. We sure can use it. Also got some snow in the mountains. But hardly a dent in our drought.
Have a good day everyone. Hoping this week is better than last..LOL

Jappy, so happy for you getting that much needed time with your girl! Even if it's now time for her to move on to her next adventure, wonderful to have those great memories to keep with you till the next ones our made!

Anna, whew glad Jenn and David made it and the rest will be trickling in...now it begins fast and furious...hope you can enjoy each moment!! Give the happy couple my best and of course a big ((HUG)).  Any excuse for a hug, right?!

Catsmom, glad you're getting some rain..I'm sure you're still way behind in the rain department better enjoy it while you can LOL Hoping this week is good for you at work ;-) Are you checking the days off the calendar...April can't get here fast enough for you I know!!!!

Jean, so sorry Christina had the flu, hope she's feeling better...and that you don't catch it! Plus side is you got grandma time though :-)

Been getting ice on and off all last week another round hit last night...roads are a solid sheet.  As much as I enjoy spending time with the hubby...I'm over it now, he needs to go back to work or I need to get out for some retail therapy! At this point either or both would be great! LOL  Oh, and my girls hung out together at the beach yesterday and made sure to send me loads of pics...how did I raise such brats?! LOL

Good Morning to Everyone.

It sounds like everyone had a busy weekend. I was over at my daughters babysitting all weekend. Daughter caught that nasty flu that has been going around. So I needed to be there for her and the baby. Hopefully, I won't get it. I did get the flu shot but apparently it doesn't work so well this year. Hope everyone has a fantastic week and it goes faster then last week. LOL. Catsmom, Glad you got rain. Ours starts up again on Wednesday. Yuck!!!
