For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Anna, we got a day of nice rain and several overcast days. It's been nice...77 today...may hit 80 tomorrow....winter is coming eventually...lol.
Had family Christmas party on Saturday....30of us. My daughter and her dad came from San Diego...she's in school there for a couple of weeks studio we did Christmas early. Turned out well...

Well here I sit at the hotel, trying to catch up on all kinds of little stuff!!!! The trailer got dropped off for replacement of shock absorbers and checking bearings, brakes etc!!!! We had several little kinks that made this plan a little more challenging than we wanted, but the end result was successful!!!!! Still on track to leave Wednesday morning and start rolling down the highway!!! Andrea, I hope it's warmer where you are!!! We had freezing rain this morning!!! Nothing like trying to detach hoses, power cords, and hook up to the truck all while slip sliding on the pavement!!!!!!
Jenn is doing better. She got her radioactive treatment and should be off quarantine this evening!!! After a couple weeks they draw more blood to make sure the thyroid is inactive and then start her on synthetic. Thank you for asking Catsmom!!! I will keep you posted!!!
Sailor Son leaves tomorrow. Wife and daughter are trying to make the best of things. They celebrated Christmas yesterday but his little girl just doesn't want Daddy to leave again!!!!! Breaks my heart!!
Hope everyone else is doing great!!! Spyder, did you get some of the rain from that storm that came through?? Catsmom, I know you guys got some heavy rain and with that comes floods and mudslides. Hope everything is ok in your neck of the woods!!!! Looking forward to seeing that beautiful beach of yours in a couple months!!!!!
