Good Morning to Everyone.
While we are half way through this week. Babysat Aurora yesterday after work. At least yesterday we didn't have to work to much overtime. Today we don't have any at all but the rest of the week is going to be bad. Hope everyone has a calmer week.
jappyj,
Gotta love having more freedom than boot and A school. I hope you and her have some wonderful times while she is there in Norfolk. Hubby and I were planning a visit there with our son and his family before we head southwest, but we found out son will be leaving for his deployment before hubby and I leave Wisconsin!!!! I'm so bummed I won't get to see him now for another year!!!!
MomP(Helen),
So happy your daughter seems to be healing nicely. I pray she continues to heal quickly and completely!!! In the meantime, enjoy every minute you get to spend together!!! I see some snuggling on the sofa watching movies and eating popcorn!!! She might not be allowed any alcohol for awhile yet but you could make some virgin drinks!!!!
Blondie,
I so understand!!! I hear my girl making all these plans for her and her hubby to be and I'm so happy for them but I notice she doesn't call every day anymore!!!! LOL!!!!
Andrea,
Please pass along my thanks to your daughter and her husband for their service!!!!
Hope I didn't miss anyone and hope everyone has a great day. Hubby and I are going to Applebees for a free veterans dinner tonight!!!!
Blondie,
I feel your pain and will cry with you although my daughter is not as far in the engagement wedding process as yours I feel like I have lost her to her boyfriend/ almost fiancé.....but I guess it is the natural process we all have to go thru.
My daughter checked in Norfolk yesterday for the next phase of her training. what she didn't realize is that although she is still technically in school she is actually part of the fleet, I am not sure she knows how to handle all this free time where she doesn't have to check in with anyone to leave base or has to be back a particular time. My guess is she will spending a lot of time at my apartment. lucky me!!!1
Have a great day everyone!!!
Helen, wonderful news about Lindsay! So happy that her recovery is progressing and mom is able to be with her :-) we take whatever we can get to be with our kids! And I'm sure she loves being with mom and home during this
Morning everyone.
Happy Veterans Day :)
Blondie, Crying with you, and praying that everything gets better.
Anna, praying that the Jenn gets better soon and that it doesn't screw up her being able to fly. That would totally suck. Not being able to after everything she's done to get there.
Lindsay is doing so much better. All night without pain meds (Happy dancing). She surprised me last night when I got home from work by coming out to the dinning room on her own. She hasn't been able to get out of bed without help. Right now the sound of crutches in the hall way is a wonderful sound. Thank you again for all the prayers.
Hope everyone else a wonderful day.
