splash,
The secret is not to get caught!!!!!!!! LOL
Evening all!!! I have some catching up to do!!!
8isenuff,
Happy Belated Birthday to your girl!!! It's hard when they celebrate holidays at RTC and you can't talk to them!! So much better when you can talk to them by phone!!! Glad that she is together with her brother for now!!!
Ericuts,
I also pass along my cyber hugs to you and best wishes for your daughter as she begins her time at RTC. {{{ . . }}} My daughter also had no problem with the gas chamber. She volunteered to take the lead and thought that was much easier than being back in the pack!!! She got to watch all her shipmates come out!!!!
Jean,
As a mom I wonder how your daughter would handle the separation from her girl. My hat's off to those moms who have to deal with separation from their kids and don't have a choice. I just don't think I could do that!!! I have a hard enough time being separated with them as grown ups!!!!!! But I know you will support her decision whatever it will be!!!
So finally some good news for my girl Jenn. She finally got her first serious treatment for her thyroid problem. I wouldn't have the time or the space to tell you all the set backs and problems she's been dealing with since being diagnosed in August!!! Has had to go to the hospital a couple times with various health issues associated with the thyroid. I cannot believe it is taking the medical community so long to get her treated, but at least we can't say it's the Navy's fault or her flight surgeon. He's been doing all he can!!! So maybe now things will start to turn around for her!!! In the meantime, she made LTJG and had her new bars pinned on by her fiance, and they moved into their new house. So many of the guys from her squadron came to help her move that it was all done in 2 1/2 hours and she didn't lift a finger!!!!!
OMG...Blondie I just read your post about the frying pan...I had a good laugh! I would like to use the frying pan on him...but I don't think I would enjoy jail!
Good Morning to Everyone.
Blondie, even better. I don't like green olives so green grapes are even better.
Good morning everyone!
8isenough...Happy Birthday to your girl! and good luck to her on her test.
Blondie...great analogy with the plate. Unfortunately my ex and children's father absolutely does not care about how he hurts his kids and NEVER says he sorry. But I am going to print that one...it is too good not too.
Good Morning to Everyone.
Andrea, Christina is doing good. I have 9 months to talk her out of going back in. I think this next few days might help. Her mother in law came over and took the baby for 2 nights. So she is childless for a few days. When she told me this she was almost in tears because she will miss her. So she might find it harder then she thinks to leave her for 12 weeks. I guess for the next 9 months we have to keep reminding her how she will miss her daughter. LOL.
Blondie, love the sayings and the olive thing. I don't want to think how close Christmas is yet.
Catsmom, I don't know, if surgery will get rid of some of this pain the I am all for it. If it will just cause more then no I don't want it. It has stopped me from doing a lot of stuff right now and I would love to get back to my life. LOL.
Catsmom and Anna, thanks so much for the kind words...you know how much I love me some pictures :-)
Speaking of pictures there were so many good ones posted on here! It's awesome to see them and happy belated birthday to your girl 8isenuff thinking positive thoughts for her up coming tests...and it's so sweet that she and her brother are still so close and together, for the time being...I'm sure they know how special this time is and have this journey to share together!
Jean, wonderful that you got in to get your MRI, hope they can help provide you with some answers and get you some relief! Been thinking about Christina lately...I know things will work out they way they are suppose to as far as the Marines, but that doesn't help the mama nerves while waiting ;-) they just like to keep us on the roller coaster for the full ride, don't they?! LOL
Keeping all our girls in my prayers, they have so much going on...and a little extra thrown in for us moms!
Heading out to vote now since I didn't make it in time to early vote, hoping the lines aren't too long, but I'll do what I have to!! :-) Have a great day everyone....
