Jean, Happy you are feeling better. Have fun at the baby swap meet, and enjoying your Mimi Vacation! Those are always welcome :-)

BriesMommaBear, (((((Hugs)))) hang in there. Always hard waiting. But get used to it, seems to happen a lot, especially when they get deployed. We are always here for you!

Andrea Happy Birthday! I know you are having so much fun!

Hope you all had a good weekend. Glad Monday is done..LOL

BriesMommaBear,

I saw your message.  I know this is the hardest time for us Moms because it can take up to three weeks before we get communication from our daughters.  You should be able to get her address from her recruiter.  They have a way to access information from RTC regarding what ship/div they've been assigned to.  She may not be able to get any mail right away, but it would be nice for her to have your precious letters there waiting for her!!!!

You might not want to purchase plane tickets right away when you get her graduation date.  Give some time to make sure she doesn't get pushed back for any unseen problem.  Once she's been there a couple weeks she'll know how she's doing and more certainty that nothing will change her graduation date.  Then start making those plans!!!!!!

Keep us posted on how things are going for you and her!!!!

Hugs {{{ . . }}}

Good Morning to Everyone.

Hope everyone's weekend was fantastic. I slept all weekend. I feel much better. At least I am good enough that I am going to work today. I look at it as I get to go for 3 days and then I am off for a day since they weren't able to give me 2 day off. Then work one day and off for the weekend again. So I sort of have a mini vacation in the middle of the week. I'm going to a baby swap meet with my daughter. Everyone have a great week.

Blondie, good you had something to celebrate, sadness and happiness go hand and hand. Love the picture, he looks like his mommy. Same eyes.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Not sure they appreaicate me anymore, just happy they don't have to do my job...I think this woman stays up nights trying to figure out more stupid things to add to all of our jobs..wondering if I can buy out my retirement and get the hell out of there.

Have a good weekend everyone. Going to do my sunrise walk on the beach in the morning. Dog is jumping on me now, so off for a walk.

Glad everyone is doing well this week.  It's been hectic for me the last few weeks but just have to share that my daughter phoned last night and told me she has been selected to be one of 8 CS on the new ship and her orders changed she has to attend combat school in Norfolk for 6 months.  So very proud of her and happy she will be close to mommyt!!!!!
