Good Morning to Everyone.

Catsmom, glad you are doing better. Was it that nasty cold that has been going around. I finely got it and now am dealing with the mess. It is not good.

Anna, glad you are finally settling in.

Good morning everyone. Back to work for me, a day and a half sick, feeling much better.

Anna, happy you are settling in. Not much longer for your new adventure to begin!

Ampingitup, sounds like some nice gifts. I am sure anything warm for the winter will be app related by her. Getting excited for you!

Have a good day everyone!

Thanks NavyTurtle!!  I'm not on the Navy FB page so I just didn't know what that meant!!!  FB confuses the heck out of me anyway!!!!

Take care!!!

Anna, Glad things are moving along with you. I don't post much but I do read everyone's posts. You ladies are very helpful in case you didn't know it ;)!  Sailor is in Pcola waiting for A school to start that is were info is coming from, not a rumor. I agree about rumors, just that! FB - changed all settings to Friends Only, hid my groups, friends etc. If you find me you don't know much about me ;0) Sailor likes it that way. Unfortunately this site is public, so public can read posts but can't comment. FB group is a closed group so members see members posts that is all. Hope this helps and unfortunately we just need to be watchful ( not hard for me since I am nosey!). Peace to everyone!

Good morning all!!!  I'm not crazy about my internet choices here. but it is what it is so I just hope it continues to stay connected long enough to send this post!!!!  Trailer life is coming along nicely, getting some last projects done before we really get into the winter here!!!!  We are down to two months and two weeks before we head out!!!!

Blondie,

Sorry for your loss and have a safe trip!!!  Add a hug to your sailor girl from me!!!!

Splash,

I remember those events of taking daughter to MEPS, her final swearing in, and then saying goodby at the airport!!!  I'm sending you cyber hugs {{{ . . }}}  Did you get to spend time with her at MEPS??

NavyTurtle,

What do you mean about locking down facebook pages??  I'm just not familiar with that.

I know we need to always be more aware and alert to our surroundings and what we divulge online, but I also agree that we can't live in fear.  There are also as many rumors out there as there are facts.  It is good to continue to share info as long as we are careful to separate facts from rumors. And  I too will continue to pray for all our troops.

Hope all of you have a good week and get to hear from our sailors.

Leach73, my daughter is in Florida. I agree with everyone but for our sailors sake we should keep alert. I know she worries about her mom, but Navy Mom's FB page already had us locking down our pages so I was ahead of the game. Still showing my pride on my car! Have a great day everyone and keep safe!
