Catsmom,

You know I've worked in a big school system before and unfortunately I've seen situations like yours.  They give a promotion to someone and maybe it's more because of who they know, where they've been, and NOT because they are qualified.  And they sit back and wait for people like you to do all the important work because you know how to do it and care enough to do it!!!  It sucks, and it's not fair to good hard workers like you who really deserve the promotion and work hard for it!!!!  I feel for you, and I can only hope she does fall flat on her face and the powers that be see it also and replace her - - - - with you!!!!  Then we can drink margaritas in celebration!!!!

spyder,

LOL I totally understand!!!  Have you been getting pounded with that rain out there???  Stay safe my friend.

Kaitsmom,

It's so disappointing when we don't hear from our recruits.  Remember one thing - hard as it is - no news IS good news!!  There can be many reasons why your daughter may not have been able to make her phone call.  And it will take awhile before she can start sending letters.  All I can say is hang in there Momma and try not to worry!!!  You will eventually get to hear from her.  Know that they are kept busy but it will get better!!!  In the meantime, you can lean on us.  Wish I knew how to put you in touch with other moms who have daughters in the same ship/div but I don't know anyone right now!!!  I will keep my eyes out tho!!!!

LOL, spyder! It's all good :-)

Kraitsmom, Hope you get a call soon. It can take a while, and if someone is getting into trouble in their group, they all get punished.

Caysmom....go you! I think several of us will hoist a drink or three and also send evil thoughts her way...lol! Just picturing her falling on her face is pretty darn good and if she doesn't catch on.......

Sitting here drinking a margarita. That is what the new boss is driving me to. New boss is a total incompetent person.....have to do her job and mine so she can sit on her ass and read emails... Yep, but she is more able to do than me. So I am going to let her fall on her face! Thanks for letting me vent..LOL Hope you all had a good day.

Andrea, didn't make it to the beach :-( the stupid coyotes woke me up at 1 am. Guess they corner something outside our patio. Willy was going crazy. Then I was wide awake till 4 am. Didn't hear the alarm go off..LOL. Hoping to make it tomorrow morning. If not then a sunset walk. Spent my day cleaning. Hubby didn't do anything during the week.
