Hi! I'm new to this. My daughter leaves for bootcamp in a week and I was just wondering how many of you have a daughter who is a hull tech?

Amen to that!! That is exactly what gets me through, knowing that there is always cell calls, Skype or oovoo, maybe even an occasional text ,,after this time in bootcamp. I just miss him so! Hard to believe this is the same kid we nicknamed "mr prez" when he was 5 because he wanted to be the president so he could give me ( a single mom of 3) more time off work.

:/ its so overwhelming! There were only 2 in his class that were sent overseas! He said his heart dropped when they were standing there waiting on orders. Now 19 and gets to explore. Thank goodness for todays technology so we can talk.

That puts my sons graduation from A at dec 27th. Do they get any time off to come home for the holidays? (He should graduate boot camp on Sept 6th) fingers crossed! I can't imagine him not here for Christmas! Although, we cam
N always celebrate when he does come home....I am willing to put it on hold till he comes home to visit. I hear they get 2 weeks after A school off...is this true?
