Hi all,

My son had his wisdom teeth taken out today. He wanted to do this on his own. It was done on base. His roommate is taking care of him. Its nice that the boys form a family group while on base and their other dive buddies are their to help out.

Inaipaul, you are so right about them still having so much to learn. Graduating dive school is one the beginning. My son is always working on his qualifications. He is attending jump school within the next few months.

I do not know of any divers who have been deployed yet. I know that must be hard for you, knowing he is going to be deployed. We are here for you!

I also value this site. I have gotten so much info and support from all of you. Thanks so much!

Caron,
Awesome video of divers. It bought back lots of memories. It is so important for u them to pay attention to details.
This site has been great for me. My son is the first to go into service so I always have a lot of questions and learn alot. My son will be deploy next year and I am trying to be strong. After graduating dive school they still have so much to learn. He is always studing his dive manuel. I call it his dive bible.

Has anyone kids been deployed to bahrain and how is it? Can they take their phone/ laptop? I heard special ops can not take their phone.

CaronMS- thanks for sharing! It brought back memories of my son only a few months ago. I am proud of all our divers and divers-to-be! Good luck to your son!
