The group doesn't appear to be very active :( My sailor graduated PC as a diver in August 2013 and is currently in Little Creek. I was wondering if all members of the group are diver moms (or if some of the 156 members are still pre- Panama city). I'd like to connect and get to know some of the other Diver moms :)
Oh. The number of individuals picked each month varies. You never know how many.
My son got picked in February. He said they only picked up 3 that month. He works the PST twice a week with the Navy guys and had been trying for months. High PST scores are important so have him keep up the work. His special forces rep should give me guidance on what to expect. Good Luck. I know it is hard.
Thanks for the info. He is a depper and took the PST and CSORT last week and passed both but its so competitive. He has been working with his assigned motivator for the last few months, and he was entered into the draft today. He will know tomorrow if he will be granted the contract. Fingers crossed he gets it...he is really working hard! thanks everyone!
To: luvmysailor... idk if there is a specific number of contracts given each month. My son is a Diver and completed his training a couple of years ago, so I do have a little knowledge on the process. Has your sailor started/completed boot camp? Where is he in his journey?
I am just curious if anyone knows how many Diver contracts are granted each month? I know its competitive and my son PST'd and took the CSORT last week and went into the draft. he should know this week if he will be chosen for a contract. I dont really know what to compare his PST scores to, etc. Thanks in advance!
Hello Moms of Navy Divers! I know this page is not very active, but I was just wondering if any of you would be interested in becoming an admin for the group. Feel free to message me if you're interested in this role.
Thanks,
