Thanks ladies, you're all awesome!! I truly cannot wait, I honestly wish I could leave in like..6 months..not a year and some months. The reason I say 6 months is that I know i'm not yet physically ready, and I want to be in the best shape I can.

Gerry Not sure if knowledge is good or bad. My son did ask me not to tell him things that I hear on Navy4moms. He doesn't need it in his head he says. He just want's to deal with it on his own. I'm proud of him no matter what happens. He's a good man. But I would go crazy without this site. I need to know something, anything.
Congratulations to you and your Navy Diver. When did he/she graduate from dive school?

Amdrew's Good to see you here. I have talked to my son and he told me the same thing. He likes the instructors and things are going well even though and although they haven't done anything crazy yet. Je seems to be getting along with everyone and actually seemed happy. It's good to be able to talk to them whe we want. But I try to give him his space. It's hard but I pace myself on the phone calls and try to limit it to goodnight texts.
