Hello! My son left for Bootcamp Aug 7th and has a navy diver contract. I have really been struggling not knowing how he is doing... We were very close and find myself searching for any you tube videos to show me what the 800 div is doing verses the reg divisions. One big question I have is, if he is sick or hurt, will they be able to let us know??

I'm trying to arrange for accommodations for PIR right now. I read on the main board that Gateway Lodge is a good option for those staying in GL for A school. What about Dive Prep, school? Would that be a good option for the weekend to spend time with our Sailor after PIR? Or is that in a different area. And was is a CHIT? Would we be better off just staying at a hotel (with a pool)? Thanks!
