Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I came across ideas for "survival kits", and one was for military personnel... Maybe someone would like to use it in a Care package.

Military Personnel Survival Kit

Lifesavers - to remind you that that's what you are
Small Empty Bottle - "Instant Water" add water and shake, for when you are on maneuvers
Mounds Bar - to remind you of the mounds of love & support you have from friends & family
Pack of Gum - to help your unit stick together
Cotton Ball - to cushion the rough roads
Piece of String - for when you reach the end of your rope
Shiny Penny - to remind you that we each shine in our own way
Paperclip - to hold it all together
A hug- to let you know there's always someone on your side
A kiss - so that you will always remember I love you!
Mint - because you are worth a mint
Candle - to light up the darkness
Tootsie Roll - to help you roll with the punches
Jolly Rancher - to remind you to laugh
Map with your street circled on it - so you will never be far from home.
I love this! Gonna send this out today! It's my daughter's first deployment and I know she will appreciate the sentiment and get a few giggles too!

Hi can you tell me was this the price for shipping, I am having a hard time finding the packages at a postoffice.  I ordered them online weeks back anad still have not received them.  I just sent them an email and my post office said it is the same price to mail to an apo aas it is to mail everywhere else no special discount to mail to the military oversees at an apo is this true?

Flat rate information  Politely send your  post office rep to this web page, and it will explain it all to them!!

Hello All,

I am hoping maybe you can recommend something good to send to deployed seabees to combat sand fleas? I've sent a few items from the local pharmacy, but was hoping maybe there's something stronger or possibly more natural to send? I have a bottle of Diatomaceous Earth but am not sure if I am allowed to send that?
