Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Isp3orion, nice pillowcase. Paymaster you sure you didn't have anything to do with that?
Would love for my guy to be at Lemore. Corpus is too far away.

And by the way, how about those Bears?? :-) Seriously, we have a friend playing on the Packers now, so I cheer him on when they are not playing Chicago... Last year, rookie year, he wins the Super Bowl! Can't imagine how it could get any better this year for him.

Comment by AH on October 22, 2011 at 1:29pm: Lynn, Sorry we didn't meet up on Sunday. It was great talking with you on Saturday. We had a great time in Yosemite. I haven't seen the pictures yet, but knowing my hubby, they are going to look great.

DJ, I went on Tiger Cruise this spring and it is great. Not to be missed. What boat would you be doing it on? When you go.... pack very lightly. We didn't and really paid the price. I thought our DS was going to kill us as he helped with the luggage and we had way, way, way too much.

DS is supposed to try and come home for a few days in Nov, before the next deployment. It will be his first visit home since Christmas, 2009.
