I understand the 2p 3p thing, but need to talk to someone who's kid has gone from 3p to 2p. I have questions I do not want to burden my kid with. Anyone?

For Leslie... 3p's cook for the airplane, take off, land and fly.

They are busy.

SOOOO happy I finally got to talk to SD since beginning this deployment.  Skype is amazing :-)  They are flying ALL the time....racking up the hours but pretty exhausted.  Just an extra motivation to keep all of our "kids" in our prayers while they are laying their lives on the line every day.  Still hopefully will be home before Christmas :)  Thinking of all our kids out there...

P3PilotMom ... what is "a 2p in the P3's"?  My son leaves Corpus to go to Jacksonville soon to start training on the P3s.  What is a 2p and a 3p?  I'm still learning the jargon:)

Irene is passing us now-very heavy winds and driving rain-basement flooded, but hoping the power stays on.

So sorry, Chirs. My DS did not do SERE after wings because of his wedding. So he will be doing the same thing - finish flights, SERE, and possibly deploy right away. He warned me the other day that we may not get to see him before he leaves, if it works out this way, so we are trying to figure something out while he is still working on flights. It's hard.... We will keep you and your loved ones in our prayers.

I know Quinnipiac very well- we are keeping fingers and toes crossed,as we have had a lot of rain recently, don't need more, and the wind is a factor too! you will probably feel it too and if you are coming down to Conn., be careful
