TNNavymom - that is such a wonderful idea and love the sentiment!
DS is now out of Djibouti and in Sicily - back to a little bit of civilization!
CQ's are the hardest. What is funny about me right now is that I know that DS is supposed to be going to the boat this week end to requalify on carrier landings, but he was on cruise for 6 months doing it every day. Now I'm stressing. Too funny on my part. I guess that is just being a mother.

Leslie - you had us pretty worried, but SO GLAD to see your post! You have a real goal to get well for and something to look forward to! Eat like a pig and don't exercise - you will be ready for anything!!
To be Frock'd - In the Navy, both enlisted and officers can be "frocked." Basically, when selected for promotion, but waiting for their promotion "line number" to be released (which can take up to a year), a commander can allow the officer or sailor to assume the new rank. They don't get paid until their promotion line number is actually released, but they can at least wear the rank.
Mine is due for his line number to come up in September, but by being Frock'd now will allow him better housing at his next assignment (Lieutenant to Lt CMR).
