DJ and Leslie- thinking of you and your families- God is watching over you.
Chris- will be thinking of Erin as she completes this important step in her amazing journey.
DJ- Andrew is also training to be an LSO! He sent me a pic of all of the LSO's on the Enterprise and I just couldn't find him at all- I looked and looked- long story short he shaved his head and had a "creepy" mustache!!!
Good and Bad news" Andrew was suppossed to be sent home 3 weeks early to set up a hanger bay before the enterprise got into Norfolk - has been deployed since Jan. 14th- but gave up his spot to an NFO whose wife is having pregnancy complication- oh my we thought we would see him June 29 and now not until July- just a little longer! As Andrew said 6 months on the boat is long enough. God bless the crew of the Enterprise Big "E" and bring them all home safely within the next few weeks.
Leslie,
We are praying for a speedy recovery and a great meal for you in the near future.
Jayne
Just to let you all know, no mention of any incidents in Kvil when I last talked to my son. Of course, I was telling him about a dog movie that had me crying, so I doubt he'd tell me anything that might make me worry after that!
I hope everyone who's sick or hurt heals quickly. Thanks for the updates everyone.
While I haven't heard anything on any posting here, I heard that a T-45 went down in Kingsville last week. VT-21. The pilot ejected with only minor injuries. I know that these incidents take a bunch out of me when I hear about them. There were 3 incidents while my DS was there and I know that one of the pilots had a hard time recovering mentally. I don't know what happened from that. Also, when his squadron had the mid-air last Spring, one of the pilots was not able to return due to medical issues (his decision as the Navy was willing to work with him). What our loved ones are doing is inherently dangerous and we all know that the planes and helos are aging. I pray every day that all of our aviators (not just the ones on this site) are safe and that God is with them.
Chris, if I remember correctly, when you click to Verify, your recipe won't show in the list. Scroll down a bit and you'll see something like Not Verified or Unverified ~ click there & it should lead you to your recipe so you can Verify it. Then it will show in the list.
If anyone wants to PM me regarding getting IE9 off and IE8 back, I'll be happy to help. It's not difficult, but it would be easier to talk you through it on the phone and I've got time to help.
Shelia, same as above with the facebook picture - it's not difficult and I will pm you with my phone # and maybe we can talk later today - I'm on the west coast.
